The Gliding Cub of Victoria is one of the premier gliding sites in Australia. It was selected as the venue for the World Gliding competition in 1987 for its soaring conditions and facilities.

The club's location provides for excellent and safe cross country gliding and the club offers a variety of training programs from 'Going for Solo' to comprehensive cross country and competition performance programs.

Aerotows at Benalla are by 2 Pawnees, 1 Callair and a Ballanca Scout. There are three club two-seaters for training and checks and a fleet of single seat fibreglass gliders for hire to members. The club house is fantastic, second to none in Australia, and the members are friendly and welcoming. You'll enjoy your stay at the Gliding Club of Victoria.
